Facilities Engineer - X – Reno

Responsibilities will include:

Will manage, coordinate and participate in all aspects of the facility project builds, remodels and relocations from planning and design through construction to move-in.

Prep and delivery of concept layouts, specifications, capacity planning and cost estimates.

Solicitation of bids from contractors, architects and vendors and managing the work of selected vendors.

Identification of furniture and equipment needs; manage the purchase, installation and or relocation of those assets.

Provides necessary documentation and obtains necessary management and financial approvals prior to project commencement.

Determines move schedules and coordinates the move of personnel and equipment to minimize relocation costs and lost productivity.

Monitors progress and participates in the analysis and reporting of implications for budget forecasts, scheduling and deviations from original specifications.

Participates in the inspection of construction and installation throughout projects ensuring building code requirements are met.

Prepares plant layouts utilizing AUTOCAD.

Responsible for schedule compliance, budget control and specification/building code requirements.

Qualifications:

5 to 8 eight years in facility engineering. Bachelors degree or equivalent engineering preferred.

Special Skills to include:

Knowledge of plant layout and building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical/data wiring systems.

Experience with architecture, construction and real estate lease contracting.

Must be proficient in AUTOCAD.

Ability to manage multiple projects.

Ability to travel (30% - 40%) in multiple locations in the United States and Canada.
